I use traditional metalsmithing techniques which means I shape the sheet metal by forging, dapping, filing, sanding, and soldering. The malleability of metal is amazing it’s always like making a mini sculpture. I also carve wax for some of my pieces. I work with sheet metal, sheet wax, and other wax materials. Working with these materials is meditative, and I find different ways of doing things when I sit working at my bench. You can also watch how I make my jewelry on my youtube channel.
